Hey, Anthony Here

Thanks for checking out my blog, you’ve come to the right place if your looking for a comprehensive review of Customized Fat Loss system.  The system was put together by none other than fitness model and personal trainer Kyle Leon.

First and foremost, I just want to clarify I will be giving you an unrestricted and unbiased and honest review of Kyle Leon’s Customized Fat Loss.  What your about to read are the ESSENTIAL details you need to know before you grab a copy of the system for yourself.  Okay when I said unrestricted, I wasn’t talking about curse words or offensive stuff against other programs.  I just want to give you the good vs the potential bad.

So what exactly is Kyle Leon’s “Customized Fat Loss” system all about?

This system is basically closing the gap between professional body builders and the mass of us who just want to get into great shape or be healthy.  Fitness model and personal trainer Kyle Leon wanted to help those of us who didn’t have $5000 dollars to spend on a nutritionist and personal trainers.  Yes!!! I was looking online for systems that professionals use and those numbers accurate.  Information is golden when it comes to your body.  It almost seems like Kyle is leaking the industry secret behind those superstar bodies from the movie 300.  That’s not the case but it just feels that way knowing that this information in the hands of professionals is upward to $5000 dollars.  This system will help you define your body type and aid you to the body you want using a 12 week program.  I’m only 2 weeks in and I don’t have mine yet.

For example of how detailed this system is I will name some of the bonus features you get.  Yes like any e-book he is sweetening the deal with some bonus material.  I fell for it but I’m not kicking myself about it because I needed it.

With the main purchase you will receive a bonus called “Foods That Kill Fat” which is the route I want to take.  Inside that bonus feature is does explain that there are good and bad carbs.  I keep hearing that carbs are evil but not in all cases.  About the 5 foods explained: Whole eggs including the yoke, Grass-fed beef or bison, avocados, nuts ect he explains which are good and berries.  In this bonus they also tell you that soy products are terrible for you.  Sorry to all of you out there going healthy with soy.  This bonus will make you think twice about soy products.

More bonus features the “Fat Loss Primer” program is something that I paid an extra $47 for.  I need more than the occasional advice I receive from GNC employees.  So this program jumps in to good nutrition habits.  What supplements to stay away from during training.  He lends some advice on good training ideas to implement if your not already doing them right now.  Supplementation and the importance of omega 3 fish oils.  To some of you this may not be worth spending an extra 47 dollars for but I needed to hear that info.  The fat loss product advice couldn’t be too bad coming from a man built like an action figure.  He is throwing in about 5 free bonus features and a couple of his videos where he walks you through some of the info.  Informative videos that help you define your body type which at first I wasn’t sure on.  I’m almost 30 so I kept thinking about the 20 year old body type I used to have.  Slight memory lapse.  ha ha ha

What are the BAD things about Kyle Leon’s “Customized Fat Loss”

Well like any program there is going to be some flaws.  You may actually look at the program and comment on my blog and tell me to man up on a couple of things but it was just coming from my POV.

- If your not that big on working out some of the training numbers may make you step back and ask yourself if you can do it.  The weight and the reps aren’t going to kill you and if you can do P90X workouts you shouldn’t bat an eye at the numbers.  I guess I’m looking out for the beginner who is just jumping into physical fitness.

- Like any e-book you see out there they are going to throw about 4 up-sell bonus features at you that you might not need.  Kyle is no different since he is a fitness model he does support some supplement companies and will hit you with a couple of product placement supplements.  Kyle Leon explains why some supplements are bad for you.  The last two bonus items they send your way are great depending on your fitness level.  The $77 dollar upgrade is for a VIP Transformation Specialist to keep you motivated.  It is a life time membership and you can win up to $2000 by participating.  It wasn’t for me so I passed.  The last one is $37 dollars and you can still win $2000 but you just won’t have the Specialist track your progress.

What are the GOOD about Kyle Leon’s “Customized Fat Loss”

- The free bonus features are very dynamic and helpful.  He adds plenty of credibility to his plan when he shows you the journey of some of his clients.  The nutrition advice is so detailed that it almost feels like you do have a personal trainer at arms reach.  The peak in a week bonus helped me gain some definition inside of 12 days.  It probably would’ve worked in a week but I went to the movies and I cheated on myself with popcorn and m&m’s.  Sorry to all of my readers.  The fat loss fitness plan that comes with this program looks like it would cost some serious money.  Not due to just the info about the nutrition but also because it has charts that help you track your progress with the system.  Week by week through the 12th suggested, your chart will show your progress.

- He explains cooking tricks to keep your basic foods healthy.  He will expose the world of fat burning drugs and give you the risk and rewards of some of these products.  Kyle will expose his pre and post photo shoot habits with videos.  He has secret meals and cheat meals to help you slim down and maintain lean muscle.

- The system helps you define your body type beyond the 3 basic types.  Each type has a specific nutrition and customized workout plan.  Kyle’s goal is to eliminate the generic diet plans that haunt most of us trying to lose weight.

- Kyle is a great motivator and generally a positive vibe speaker.  I like it when the person that is teaching me something isn’t looking down on me for being where I am.  He wants you to see results as do I.  We tend to be happy when we are in shape.

Overall, what do I think?

Well I feel that Kyle has put together a system that will save countless numbers of people time and money.  For those who do workout on a regular basis you will get that extra edge to achieve your physique goals.  Even if you are in good shape he will help you get into great shape.  For those who have been looking for a product that isn’t going to leave you with false promises of 100 lbs shed with working out than this is one of the best products out.  I’m not sure if it is the best because that is a matter opinion.  In my eyes it is the best product I’ve come a cross in the last 4 or 5 years.  I’ve used about 6 similar products and have seen moderate results but so far Kyle has my attention.  If he is lucky I might send him my before and after pictures to boost his campaign ha ha ha.  I have learned too many new concepts from the content.  I have no excuse not to be in shape by week 12.  No popcorn at the cinemas for me.

Hope my review has helped,
Anthony.

Customized Fat Loss 12 Week Program Tips

July 29th, 2011 8 comments

This is one of Kyles many bonus features added into the basic program.  He explains his fat loss workout and nutrition plan.  The whole customized training fat loss program is based around a 12 week time frame.  Like anything you want to achieve you will have to be dedicated.  He speaks more about a transformation rather than just weight loss.  Kyle actually sounds like he wants to be in the gym with you and push you.  From time to time we can all use a little coaching when we are about to quit.  He jumps into his keys for a successful training routine.  As anyone in the fitness field he wants you to see results and not hurt yourself.

KEY 1- TRAINING TO FAILURE

Many people misunderstand and have various definitions of what training to failure is. Let me define it so that you are clear: Training to failure is performing an exercise to the point where you cannot complete another rep using proper form. It is the point where your muscles physiologically fail, NOT when you “think” you can’t complete another rep.

When you are performing a training to failure set, you must perform the set with proper form UNTIL your muscles physically fail you.  In the CFL program training to failure is strategically and specifically based around what’s best for your somatotype. You will be training to failure on these specific sets ONLY. This will make sure all your muscle fibers have been fully stimulated without overdoing it and without risking over-training.  Following this exact program and performing these sets correctly is very important and is vital to losing fat. Training to failure on more sets than outlined will have the OPPOSITE effect that you want so DO NOT think you are helping yourself by doing so. Training to failure on less sets that outlined will be short-changing yourself and result in less fat loss than you’re capable of.  Long and short of it is to just follow the program and you’ll be all good!!

KEY 2- TRAINING PAST FAILURE

In CFL there will be specific times when you will be required to train past failure.  For these sets, you WILL require a spotter that knows what he/she is doing. Training past failure is when you have reached failure and now require a spotter to help you complete 1 more repetition. This spotter must be instructed to NEVER allow the movement of the weight to completely stop. A good spotter will make you work
extremely hard, but will always give you just enough help to keep the weight moving slowly towards the finishing position.  We do not want you staying “stuck” for any length of time if possible.

KEY 3- RIPPED SETS

Ripped Sets are the sets MOST responsible for pushing your fat loss forward from one workout to the next. You have the opportunity to take advantage of Ripped sets every workout in this 12 week program.
True Ripped Sets require more work from the muscle being trained than the previous workout.
This is achieved by:

– Lifting more weight in a training to failure or past failure set for the same reps as the previous workout.
– Completing more reps in a training to failure or past failure set with the same weight as the previous workout.
– Doing the same weight and reps in a training to failure or past failure set BUT with a MORE fatigued muscle starting the set than the previous workout.  You have to look at these sets as a wonderful opportunity to improve, progress and stimulate more fat loss each workout! CFL 12 week program has identified these sets for you in the form of a light blue highlight (eg 1 x 8-10). It will be up to you what to do with them.

KEY 4- REST TIME

Your rest time in between sets will be specifically based on your somatotype for the goal of losing fat and maintaining lean muscle. This is very precise and should be followed as closely as possible. You will notice great differences in rest time between certain somatotypes and less differences between others.

KEY 5- FREE WEIGHTS AND MACHINES

You will also notice that there is no “one size fits all” approach to this topic either.  Lately you’ll hear a lot of people demonizing machines but we can strategically utilize both free weights and machines for maximal muscle growth. Your somatotype will determine how to best take advantage of machine work.  Also, you will find we take advantage of machines on pre-fatigued muscles especially in weeks eleven and twelve to take the fat burning process to the next level.  Find your somatotype below and follow the CFL twelve week program exactly for maximum fat loss.

KEY 6- CUSTOMIZED CARDIO

I am sure many of us have asked ourselves at some point which cardio routine is the most effective. Many believe that both high and low intensity workouts are good at helping to burn body fat. Which one then is the best and quickest way to reduce your body fat?  It has been scientifically established that when doing intensive workouts your body burns glycogen. This is a form of carbohydrate, stored in your liver and muscles for energy. However scientists also point out that low intensity workouts burn a lot of body fat.  Unfortunately, there are still many obese people dutifully doing low intensity training who seem to be having little to no success at burning their body fat…so again, which one is best???  Here’s my take on this problem. It is correct that a body burns more body fat during low intensity exercise programs like swimming, walking or leisurely bike rides.  However when doing high intensity activities like running, a lot more calories are used by your body and has you dropping weight a lot quicker. The only issue is that some of these calories being burned are indeed in the form of glycogen (although many fat calories are burned as well). Again, I am sure you are thinking “which one do I use?” The answer is BOTH!!!

A lot of the information in this article is already known due to many magazines that have tips on training.  Kyle does go more into detail with what workout plans work with your specific body types.  The most important thing is to find your body type out before you start anything in the customized fat loss program.  He is going to pitch a couple of fat loss products at you which are good products.  He is a fitness model and that is what they pay him for.

Customized Fat Loss Body Types or your Somatotype

July 29th, 2011 5 comments

This is where Kyle’s system started to really impress me.  I’ve heard about body types and how it’s harder for some of us to shed pounds fast due to genetics.  With his break down of body types he explains why generic diet or workout plans only work for some of us.  Kyle begins to explain why each body type has to have a different customized diet plan.  Now after hearing him explain it, things come together.  You start to understand why a man or woman that is 240 lbs shouldn’t be on the same calorie diet plan as a man or woman that is 140 lbs.  Every body type has a metabolism that differs and responds to carbs and calories uniqly.  I will show you his break down of the body types and it is very informative.

ECTOMORPH ( Very Skinny )

This is the linear body type with narrow shoulders, and low body fat. Their
slender shape and lack of fat gives them the look of having well formed
muscles. The ectomorph is characterized by a high forehead, receding chin,
narrow hips and chest, and thin arms and legs. Being thin and even underweight,
the ectomorph has a serious problem putting on fat or muscle.

MESOMORPH ( Naturally Muscular, Slightly Stocky )

This is the naturally muscular body type, with solid joints and large bones.
Mesomorphs typically have well developed forearms and calves. Mesomorphs
can put on muscle easier than ectomorphs. Their basic characteristics tend to
be the most desirable v-shape in males with broad shoulders, narrow hips and
muscular arms and legs.

ENDOMORPH ( Soft, Prone to be Overweight )

This is the round body type, characterized by fat around the waistline and a
soft appearance due to excess fat that hides the shape of the muscles. The
body takes the shape of a pear with a wide abdomen and hips, fat on the
upper body, arms and thighs. Endomorphs are prone to weight gain.
However, because very few people can be classified as strictly belonging to
any one of the three categories, more recently combination somatotyping has
proven to be more accurate and much more useful.

At one time these 3 body types were the standard for classification of human sizes.  Kyle and others in the health and fitness field felt that there were hybred shapes that needed to be addressed for fat loss nutrition.  Which also explains why those one size fits all fat loss diet plans weren’t working for certain types.  I am going to share those special hybred somatotypes.

ECTO-MESOPORPH ( Skinny but with more Muscle Building Traits than a True Ectomorph )

One who has a majority of ectomorphic traits and a few mesomorphic ones.
Ecto-mesomorphs usually have a frame that is slightly heavier than ectomorphs.
They have more muscle mass.

MESO-ECTOMORPH ( Naturally Muscular but still Skinnier than True Mesomorphs )

With a body that has mostly mesomorphic traits and a few ectomorphic ones,
Meso-ectomorphs can easily gain muscle mass but can lose it more quickly
than true mesomorphs. Their strength is more explosive than enduring.

MESO-ENDOMORPH ( Muscular with a Tendency to Gain Fat )

A frame that could be heavy or medium. Born with excellent muscle building
capacity, meso-endomorphs have a slower metabolism than true mesomorphs
and excellent muscle building genetics. Compared to meso-ectomorphs
however, their metabolism is slow and tendency to store fat is fairly high.

ENDO-MESOMORPH ( Gain Fat Easily but have good Muscle Building Traits )

People under this type gain fat easily, since the endomorphic traits dominate.
They have wide hips, round faces and a heavy frame but tend to be strong
although their muscles are usually hidden under fat.

The system helps you further by using a 1-7 number system to compare you to the seven different body types.  The process needs to be taken seriously due to the fact that they will use your age, height, and body type to help you with your customized diet plan.  Take the time and really find out your body type because you don’t want to cheat yourself.

A useful article about fat loss fitness inspired by Kyle Leon

July 29th, 2011 3 comments

My goal was to create a Kyle Leon’s Customized Fat Loss Review and after reading through the system plan I’ve seen need to know tools that I’ve never seen before.  It’s already impressive when the guy promoting the product looks like the Batsuit with no armor needed.  He really jumps into the specific body types and how we can’t all see results using generic one size fits all workout plans.  In a way it seems like he is throwing that South Beach diet book under the bus. I’m sure those who didn’t see results using techniques suggested from the book are riding on that bus with a smile. His nutrition plans look like hidden treasure that 49ers wish they knew about back then.  They would’ve been a lot richer and happy with the formulas.

He does explain in the opening video that he has never had to lose over 10 to 15 lbs to get into photo shoot shape but most of us are just looking to get into good or great shape.  The program is designed to aid you in losing over 75 healthy pounds of fat without hurting your metabolism and boosting your lean muscle.  He explains that the body is smart and you will hit a road block in losing more than 30 lbs without paying attention to your nutrition and rest plan.  He helps you over come those generic fat loss diet plan set ups.

Kyle includes a very body specific customized diet plan to work with the customized workout plan, if you chose to use his.  Some people are going to stick to plans they currently use.  P90X users aren’t going to change because
the system is amazing.  If you currently don’t have a plan he lays everything out for you so that there is no guess work. Healthy fat loss fitness is what he is truly promoting and I believe it to be the best system I’ve seen before.  I haven’t seen 1000′s of them but I’ve been around the block on fat loss fitness plans.  I’ve seen 100′s from e-books, DVDs, and Books/Mags.  To me it seemed like there was always something missing in the fat loss programs I’ve seen.   It seems like he has covered the important needs with this system and I’m happy I found it.

Alright, those of you that haven’t been able to see amazing results with those other fat loss products will fall in love with the customized fat loss program.  It will help you find your calorie numbers for your on and off days.  He wants you to follow his nutrition plans on your recovery days as well.  You never know, if you ask for a refund he may come to your house and make sure you weren’t cheating.  If you buy the product you will see that Kyle puts on some serious muscle on his non photo shoot days.  He might check your house for snacks and the bad foods he tells you to stay away from.  He’s big enough that you would just let him tear through your kitchen.
